The front shows Tigranes II diademed and draped, facing right, wearing a jeweled tiara with starburst between eagles; bead-and-reel border / The back depicts Tyche seated on a rock with palm frond in hand, river god Orontes swimming before her; Θ in field, HΔ monogram at base, inscription BAΣIΛEΩΣ / TIΓPANOY (“King Tigranes”) to sides.
