One side displays the crowned monogram “IЄ II” of Catherine the Great within a laurel and palm wreath; date 1778 across the field / The reverse features a crowned double-headed imperial eagle with wings spread, holding scepter and orb; the arms of Moskva appear on the breast, framed by the Order of St. Andrei Первозванного; E м flanks the tail, and the denomination appears on a banner below. Coin reference: Bitkin 620-var. for type. Sharp detail with deep coppery-brown tone. Edges show expected wear from circulation. Measures a massive 41mm, weighs 51.74g.
