Antique European Flintlock Pistol // 1700's - early 1800's
Product Description
An antique European flintlock pistol, from the late 1700s to early 1800s. Unmarked, with a 7 1/2" barrel and .679 bore. Total pistol length 12.5", the wood with a wonderful rich patina, the metal with a deep gray tone. The lock mechanism is strong and intact, and the pistol has a brass trigger guard, grip cap marked and rod thimble, and wood ramrod, the original striking flint still in place! The brass grip cap is engraved with the initials "F-P", presumably the original owner. The wood stock shows average handling with older refinish with areas of blushing/graying. Excellent condition!
